This week, inspired by the news that John Williams will not be scoring Steven Spielberg's Bridge of Spies due to illness (though he will return for his live-action version of The BFG), Matt and I decided to discuss some of our favourite creative partnerships in film. In addition to discussing what a long-running collaboration can add to the work of actors, directors, writers or what have you, we also discuss how those partnerships can end, and what the ends of those relationships can mean for subsequent work.
